Expression Pathology, Inc. Adopts BioFortis’ Translational Informatics Software for Cancer Biomarker Study

March 23rd, 2006, Baltimore, MD ---Labmatrix™, BioFortis' enterprise translational research data management application, was adopted by Expression Pathology, Inc. to support a successful biomarker discovery study analyzing the complex proteome of 5 types of cancer. Labmatrix was used in the study to store and query specimen data together with mass spectrometry findings. In addition, BioFortis provided professional services in data management and analysis. "The study has generated exciting, patent-pending results about the biological characteristics of cancer vs. normal cells," said Dr. David Krizman, Chief Scientific Officer of Expression Pathology.
