About BioFortis: Overview

BioFortis was formed in 2002 by transfer of the Labmatrix™ technology from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where it was developed in the department of Pathology. The company gained recognition with prestigious early adopters such as the Human Genome Research Institute of the NIH and has since become a leading provider of information management solutions for the translational life science research community. Since commercial release in 2004, Labmatrix™ has grown to support hundreds of researchers in a variety of application areas including translational clinical and genetic research, personalized medicine and biomarker studies, as well as biobanking. With a strong management team and multi-disciplinary staff cross-trained in both informatics and life sciences providing highly responsive customer and technical support, BioFortis continues to win accolades within the scientific community.

BioFortis has always been a company close to my heart, and I am just delighted to see that others also appreciate you. - Head of Emerging Technology Center in Maryland
